Are there any guides online on how to build a car?

I was looking around on google and I couldn't find anything useful to me... I want a nice car, but everything I looked at is way too expensive, so it seems like a better idea to build it myself. I mean, looking at cars today, they don't seem THAT complicated. I am pretty sure I could make something as good or better with instructions. Does anyone know where I can find said instructions? I would really appreciate any help on the matter.

where can I find free car stereo installation guides?

I'm looking to install a car stereo and have run into problems disassembling the dash. Does anyone know a website with free downloads of installation guides for specific makes and models of vehicles?

Metra sometimes offer the same installation guides online that are included with their kits. Look up a kit for your car, then keep that part number handy. Then google that part number along with "installation guide" or "installation manual". Or try an online car audio forum...maybe a member has your car too and can give you hints on what to do.
